Susanna Hesselberg ... objectify

Siempre me ha fascinado Diane Arbus (1923-1971). Desde que me topara, hace años, with a couple of photos of her, Arbus opened me to a totally parallel. A space in which it was not as normal as normal and abnormal eccentrically became natural.

His images, a monstrosity that appeals, leave no one indifferent, and it certainly ! I did something endearing freak and fear the first step to love. Today, almost one hundred years later, I discovered another photographer who, without the heel of Arbus, played by the rules of Surrealism, with the rules of the monstrous in a first impression. What is and what does not and what can be ... click after click . His name? Susanna Hesselberg (1967), a photographer who since 1995 has presented a paper that seeks its rejection particular instant success, but unlike Arbus, raises the object (against the person) as the true protagonist of

Cuerpos que se funden con objetos, objetos que se deforman, parejas que se fusionan y cabellos que sin control crecen y se enmarañan intencionadamente... y todo ello en un sinfín de fotografías que no puedes dejar de mirar.

(Bodies that are fused with objects, objects that are deformed, merging partners and hair that grow uncontrollably and become entangled intentionally ... all in a myriad of photographs That You CAN NOT stop looking).

two original modes ( Arbus and Hesselberg ) of seeing the world through different eyes, reality another lens and find peace in that uneasy unreality. Recommended .
